Dr. Robert (Bob) Day, Jr.

Dr. Day received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1975, his Therapeutic license in 1992, and his Optometric Glaucoma Specialist license in 2001. Dr. Day is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays by appointment.
He is a long time resident of Garland and graduated from South Garland High School in 1967. Dr. Day is active in the Garland community, having served as Garland Mayor for 5 years, NTTA Board member for 4 years, Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader, the Garland Chamber of Commerce Board Member and on numerous other committees and organizations. Bob is married to Reta Day and has two sons, Kenneth and Travis, and enjoys tennis and camping with his family. |
Dr. Shaina Joseph

Dr. Shaina Joseph joined the professional staff in August 2021. Dr. Joseph is available on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays by appointment.
Dr. Joseph is a Therapeutic Optometrist who graduated from the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2021. She received extensive training in ocular disease, diabetes and dry eye in addition to general eye care with glasses and contacts. Before professional school, she graduated with honors from the University of North Texas. She grew up close by in Sunnyvale and graduated from Sunnyvale High. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys anything involving music including playing piano, drums and guitar as well as attending concerts. |
Tracy - Office Manager

Tracy has been a part of the Broadway Eye Center team since 1988. She grew up and continues to live in Dallas. Tracy graduated from Bryan Adams High School and has an Associates Degree from Eastfield Jr. College. She enjoys spending time with her children, Megan and Brandon, going to musicals and reading.
In the office, Tracy is well adept at the intricacies of patient care and insurance payments. |
Lesly- Assistant

Lesly joined the team in February 2023. She graduated from South Garland HS and plans to become a nurse. She loves her dogs and spending time with her family. She is bilingual and enjoys the arts and learning new things. |

Stephanie - Optician

Stephanie joined our BEC Team in January 2021 as an Optician with over 12 years experience in optical industry. She grew up in Mesquite and now lives in Rowlett with her husband, two young children and two dogs. Stephanie loves to do arts and crafts and her current obsession is making things with resin. She enjoys working with her hands and helping people. We are very pleased to add her experience to our Broadway Optical. |

Jackie - Optician

Jacqueline is currently a student at Dallas College and pursing a Medical Assisting certification. She grew up in Mesquite, Texas and graduated from Mesquite High School. During her free time, Jacqueline enjoys spending time with her dogs, Lola and Biscuit, as well as shopping and going out to eat at Texas Roadhouse. Jacqueline loves assisting patients in both the office and the optical. |
