Dr. Robert (Bob) Day, Jr.

Dr. Day received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1975, his Therapeutic license in 1992, and his Optometric Glaucoma Specialist license in 2001. Dr. Day is available on Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays by appointment.
He is a long time resident of Garland and graduated from South Garland High School in 1967. Dr. Day is active in the Garland community, having served as Garland Mayor for 5 years, NTTA Board member for 4 years, Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader, the Garland Chamber of Commerce Board Member and on numerous other committees and organizations. Bob is married to Reta Day and has two sons, Kenneth and Travis, and enjoys tennis and camping with his family. |
Dr. Vinita Chiranand

Dr. Chiranand is a native Texan, born and raised in Houston. After receiving her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Texas at Austin, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2013. Dr. Chiranand is currently licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and is certified as a Optometric Glaucoma Specialist by the Texas Optometry Board.
In her spare time, Dr. Chiranand enjoys traveling, trying out new restaurants and visiting local theaters and museums. When she 's not volunteering at a local animal shelter, she spends her free time with her two spoiled cats, Moogle and Waffles. |
Tracy - Office Manager

Tracy has been a part of the Broadway Eye Center team since 1988. She grew up and continues to live in Dallas. Tracy graduated from Bryan Adams High School and has an Associates Degree from Eastfield Jr. College. She enjoys spending time with her children, Megan and Brandon, going to musicals and reading.
In the office, Tracy is well adept at the intricacies of patient care and insurance payments. |
Justine - Assistant

Justine joined the team in Sept 2023. She attends Eastfield College and plans to become a surgical technician. She loves her family and 2 dogs. She enjoys the food and music. |

Stephanie - Optician

Stephanie joined our BEC Team in January 2021 as an Optician with over 12 years experience in optical industry. She grew up in Mesquite and now lives in Rowlett with her husband, two young children and two dogs. Stephanie loves to do arts and crafts and her current obsession is making things with resin. She enjoys working with her hands and helping people. We are very pleased to add her experience to our Broadway Optical. |

Vivian - Assistant

Vivian joined the Team in June 2024. She graduated from Hillcrest High School. She loves her dog Sparks and her bunnies. She is bilingual and enjoys music and learning new things. |
