In 1950, Dr. Robert E. Day, Sr. bought an optometry practice one block west of the Garland's Downtown Square at 612 West Garland Ave (now Main Street). The present location at 3034 Broadway opened in the spring of 1969.
In June 1975, Dr. Robert (Bob) Day, Jr. joined the practice. During the 1980s, the "Day and Day" practice expanded to include the entire building and in 1994 was renamed "Broadway Eye Center." In December 1999, Dr. Robert Day, Sr. retired. In 2005, Dr. Ashley Huff joined the practice on a part-time basis and left in April 2020. In August 2021, Dr. Shaina Joseph joined the practice. |
