Dr. Robert (Bob) Day, Jr.

Dr. Day received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1975, his Therapeutic license in 1992, and his Optometric Glaucoma Specialist license in 2001. He is a long time resident of Garland and graduated from South Garland High School in 1967. Dr. Day is active in the Garland community, having served as Garland Mayor for 5 years, NTTA Board member for 4 years, Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader, the Garland Chamber of Commerce Board Member and on numerous other committees and organizations. Bob is married to Reta Day and has two sons, Kenneth and Travis, and enjoys tennis and camping with his family.

Dr. Ashley Huff

Dr. Ashley Huff is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, who graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She joined Broadway Eye Center in August 2005. Before professional school, she attended the University of North Texas, graduating with honors. She grew up in Flower Mound, graduating from Marcus High School. Her husband, Daniel, is a native of Garland and they have one son, Joseph. She loves horseback riding, scrapbooking, and loves to travel.

Tracy - Office Manager

Tracy has been a part of the Broadway Eye Center team since 1988. She grew up and continues to live in Dallas. Tracy graduated from Bryan Adams High School and has an Associates Degree from Eastfield Jr. College. She married her husband, Wes, in 1990 and has two children, Megan and Brandon. Tracy is very involved in the PTA and her childrens's school activities.

In the office, Tracy is well adept at the intricacies of patient care and insurance payments.

Isabel - Assistant

 Isabel is a graduate from South Garland High School.  In December 2011, she graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.  She hopes to go to graduate school for counseling in the future.  She enjoys playing tennis and reading mystery novels.

Okey - Optician

Okey served four years as an Opticalman in the US Navy and worked for Associated Optical where he was instrumental in starting one of the first plastic lens lab in the US.  He received his certification from the National Academy of Opticianry in 1977.  Before moving to Garland and stating Metro-Plex Optical, he and his brother owned an optical shop in Preston Center.  For over 30 years, Okey has developed a strong relationship with the patients of Broadway Eye Center.  Okey's interests are family and gardening.

Vickie - Optician

Vickie met and married Okey in 1973 while working for Associated Optical.  They have four grown children, Mark, Kerrie, Jennifer and Jerimy.  She received her certiciation from the American Board of Opticianry in 1984.  Like with Okey, patients of Broadway Eye Center have greatly benefited from her expertise.  Vickie enjoys her grandchildren and all their activities.
