Dr. Robert (Bob) Day, Jr.

Dr. Day received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1975 and his Therapeutic Certification in 1992. He is a long time resident of Garland and graduated from South Garland High School in 1967. Dr. Day is active in the Garland community, having served five years as Garland Mayor, Cub Scout and Boy Scout groups, the Garland Chamber of Commerce and numerous other committees and organizations. Bob is married to Reta Day and has two sons, Kenneth and Travis, and enjoys tennis and camping with his family.

Dr. Ashley Huff

Dr. Ashley Huff is a therapeutic optometrist who graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She joined Broadway Eye Center in August 2005. Before professional school, she attended the University of North Texas, graduating with honors. She grew up in Flower Mound, graduating from Marcus High School. Her husband, Daniel, is a native of Garland. They recently added a new addition to their family, Joseph, in April 2008. She loves horseback riding, scrapbooking, and loves to travel.

Barbara (Office Manager)

Barbara is our office manager. A native of Dallas, having graduated from Forest Ave. High School in 1950. She married Homer in 1953 and moved to Garland in 1955. She became active in local PTA Associations while her children, Larry and Lori were in school. She joined Dr. Day's office in October of 1979. Her hobbies are mostly family-related; particularly grandchildren and their activities.

Tracy

Tracy has been a part of the Broadway Eye Center team since 1988. She grew up and continues to live in Dallas. Tracy graduated from Bryan Adams High School and has an Associates Degree from Eastfield Jr. College. She married her husband Wes, in 1990. They have two children, Megan and Brandon. Tracy is very involved in the PTA and her childrens's school activities.

Giovani

Giovani Aldana is the newest addition to our staff at Broadway Eye Center. She is a graduate of South Garland High School and was involved in the Business Computer Informational Systems Class. She attends Eastfield College.

Since joining the staff in January 2009, she has been learning how to conduct the preliminary procedures and answering the phone. She is bilingual and has been very helpful with our Spanish speaking patients.
